There was a significant difference in the amount of household tension experienced post-diagnosis between those diagnosed for less than one year, who reported only  14% tension. This compared to 48% (Yes and Sometimes) in those 1-2 years post diagnosis. Overall, household tensions are experienced by over 30% of participants as a direct result of CD.
